You know that feeling when you have a mobile phone and the battery has nearly run out. Amazon have the answer. Their latest patent is for a friendly looking robot that moves around airports and shopping centres and detects phones with less than 10% battery life. It will then let you plug your phone into one of its charging sockets. You will have to pay a small fee for this service and the robot will follow you until your phone is charged.
