Windows 10 Anniversary Edition
Microsoft have just announced the release date for this update. It will be available on August 2nd. It contains upgrades to Cortana, Edge and various security features. Further details will be available when I have finished with the latest Insider Release.

The news is that Microsoft has just released yet another insider preview. That means over the last week the people beta testing the releases have had three releases! Indicates that Microsoft are starting to iron out all the bugs and wrinkles in the Anniversary Edition.

The new release draws ever closer!! The "final" version, RTM (Released to Manufacturers), has been sent to Microsoft Insiders this morning.

Microsoft have said that the Anniversary Edition of Windows 10 will be available at 07:00hrs Pacific Standard time on August 2nd. However to ensure that there is not a major problem with the download, the released software will be available at 07:00hrs local time in each country. As Microsoft have said in a press release "this means that each country will get the upgrade at the same time, but it will vary by time zone!". Typical Microsoft press release, says something and nothing at the same time !!
